Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoFlow ("PhotoFlow", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the PhotoFlow Android TV screensaver application.

1. Information we access

When you connect PhotoFlow to Google Photos, PhotoFlow may access Google Photos data that is necessary to provide the feature you requested, including information about the Google Photos album and media you select for use as your screensaver.

PhotoFlow does not request or use Google Photos data for purposes unrelated to providing the screensaver experience.

2. How we use Google user data

We use Google user data solely to provide the PhotoFlow functionality you initiate. In particular, PhotoFlow uses the selected Google Photos media to synchronize the selected content to the Android TV device and display it as a randomized screensaver slideshow.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or other unrelated purposes.

3. Storage

PhotoFlow stores synchronized photos on the Android TV device's private local storage so that the screensaver can operate without repeatedly downloading the same media.

PhotoFlow is designed to keep this synchronized media within the device's private application storage and does not intentionally make it publicly accessible.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share Google Photos media with third parties for purposes unrelated to providing PhotoFlow.

PhotoFlow does not use Google Photos media to serve advertisements.

5. Disconnecting Google Photos

You can disconnect Google Photos from PhotoFlow through the app. When you disconnect, PhotoFlow is designed to remove the locally synchronized media associated with the disconnected Google Photos source.

6. Google authorization

PhotoFlow uses Google's OAuth authorization flow so that you can explicitly grant or revoke access. You can also manage or revoke the application's access from your Google Account settings.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect information handled by PhotoFlow. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children's privacy

PhotoFlow is intended for general use and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for unrelated purposes.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PhotoFlow's data practices change or when required by applicable law or platform requirements. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

10. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or PhotoFlow's data practices, please contact the developer through the support contact provided in the application's Google Play or Google OAuth configuration.

Google API Services User Data Policy: PhotoFlow's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
